This is the greatest advice ever, thanks so much, I had no idea about the special sensor, and the ratio hit thingy, very interesting, and esp the labs and shields, i forgot about that, thanks alot,

I've developed a in work SFC OP Shiplist that includes about 100 Post X Era (TNG Era) ships for OP.

Adam, I'd be totally cool with sharing my current work with you if you'd like.

Also - your ship models have hardpoints coded into them. I have a Galaxy X model, for instance, that has a hardpoint set in the readme.txt saying basically "use this UI and have this hardpoint set to whatever weapon you want to fire from that location (the heavy phaser from underneath the saucer section).
