I just dusted off my copy of SFC II EAW. Started playing it again for some of the features and controls I kinda missed when playing SFC III. Don't get me wrong, I still enjoy the game, I just prefer the original Star Trek setting a bit more, lol....
I'm having a problem when trying to play multiplayer. When I go to the Dynaverse selection, it allows me to log into Gamespy, but then the game freezes in the server selection. It still allows me to scroll through the servers, and I can highlight other servers, but it won't show the info on the server highlighted. When I click the refresh or join buttons, nothing happens. I also cannot back out of the server selection screen. I have to go to the program manager and stop the program from there.
It's driving me nuts. I want to play this game online, but cannot. I can play SFC III online, however. I don't know if anyone can help me, but I figured I give this a shot anyway. Here's a quick lowdown on my configuration:
AMD Athlon XP 1800+
Abit KX7-333R Mainboard
1 gig PC2700 DDR
GeForce 4 TI4400
Cable modem
I don't have the firewall up, as it won't even log on to Gamespy with it on.
Any help would be greatly appreciated. I am expecting a copy of OP soon, but I fear I may experience the same problem. Boy I hope not, lol.....

It's not you. A couple of patches ago it started doing that. All you need to do is wait about 2-3 minutes and it will work like it's supposed to.
