Can anyone help me with this? I got some new weapons sound effects I want to import into SFC:OP but for some reason when I import them into the Sounds.zip file, the game doesn't seem to read them. I copy the same name so that the new sound would be used with a particular weapon, but it still does not work.
Does anyone know if this is possible with SFC2 or OP?

You need to import the specific sound file into the sfcsound.zip file with NO COMPRESSION.
Use WinZip or WinRAR, but make sure to use NO COMPRESSION.
This should fix it.

The sound files are of a specific type and compression, themselves. Be sure to check one out to find out the bitrate, etc..etc..

It is definitely possible....I have replaced most of the stock weapons with new sounds and textures. As above, win-zip with NO COMPRESSION is a must. Also use "ADD and REPLACE" or the files may be added with a change in case such as .wav vs .WAV. Make sure your sound text matches exactly to the name of the waves.
