There's a new beta of CV out (link in my sig). It doesn't have as many features, but now it no longer requires DirectX9. It's built off of an entirely new DX8.1 engine and has support for plugins which independant programmers can write (at least I hope they will). There's not much to look at, it's not bug free, but for those who've been waiting, it's a nice status update.

what is CV? No info there.

CV is a program that lets you convert between the SOD and MOD format as well as edit hardpoints. There is a link in my sig, and the older versions describe what it can do in greater detail.
