I tried that myself since I'm using I.E. 6.0 myself and nada, it doesn't work. Oh well... That's what reading glasses are for...

Size doesn't matter
-
does seem alot smaller then the old forums...and cant get mine to resize either......this may be enough to drive me back to 800x 600 resolution...
-
Try the following to override the font size.
http://www.abilitynet.org.uk/content/accessibility/prefs/ie.htm
Open the Tools menu with the mouse or by pressing Alt+T.
Select the Internet Options option with the mouse or by pressing O.
Select the Accessibility button with the mouse or by pressing Alt+E.
Check the "Ignore font sizes specified on web page" checkbox with the mouse or by pressing alt+Z.
Select the OK button twice with the mouse or by pressing Enter twice.
-
None of that works as Ive allready up my font and text size. like i said it works on the old board but doesnt seem to work for this new ubb board.
And ya id hate going back to 800 by 600 myself but dont seem to be anyother alternative.

They forgot the important step...
right click on internet Explorer Icon.. select properties.
at the bottom, click the button that states Accessibility..
in new pop up window, check the box that states "Ignore Font Sizes Specified on Web pages"
click ok..
Close all IE that are open.. reopen IE, goto web site when web site loads, go to menu bar
click on view
put mouse on text size
in side menu from test size, choose the size you want... web page will then resize text..
hope that this helps
