Title: lobby chat stops working

Has anyone else had the problem where for no apparent reason, lobby chat stops working?

It has happened to me several times, on different servers, I tried changing keyboards, no effect.

Is this a known bug?

Yeah, I think it is.  Seems like I remember some of this.  I believe that if you go into mission and come out again it will start up again.  There might be another workaround, but I just don't remember.

Chat stops working if you buy a base/ship.

Enter refit or officer screen & exit, your chat will work again
