After I try out Chris Jones' ReBalancing Mod Server, I just might have a new favorite. Jury's still out though...
The Raspberry Award goes to any and all Activision servers. They are effectively unmoderated, and reset every couple of days. That's not fun when I can't get into a nicely equipped D'deridex (I do have a life, you know). Dishonorable mention goes to all those 'Venus Fly Trap' Servers. You know the kind; they're set up to give one empire a massive advantage over every other. A fact they just 'forget' to mention until your FF gets smoked by a Uber Defiant.

The GFL public server has been the best server I've played on so far. The rules are good, and help make sure troublemakers don't last, since they do get banned for violations. The server can get laggy, but that's only when it is near capacity (which, sadly, is most of the time
).

CA's should be the mainstay of a fleet and be the plateau for all but the most addicted of players
