this one's a bit odd. Drive hull could use a bit of detail...unless it's the pic it looks a bit blank.
Hye nanner, you want a ship that needs a serious overhaul...moonraker's got a excelcior bash on his page, right above the ktingas at the very bottom that could use some help. I been bugging moon to replace the 12 sided saucer but he hasn't yet.

And my Centaur could use a lot of help.
Alot of it was cut a paste, and I'm still not much better at texturing...workin' on it though.
My pre-TOS textures are all mine, no shortcuts there. 
BTW, did you get the help you needed exporting from gmax?

I'm still around. I've been making lightsabers for Jedi Outcast lately. I'll go back to SFC when I get bored of that.
Interesting glow effect. It really highlights the axial phaser.

yeah starforce, it probably does need some more detail to an extent - i might go back and add some later.. but in a way, i didnt want to over do it.. so we will see.

I use the original Odysseus as my Federation TMP battleship.
I like this version. Admittedly, I would prefer a bit more details on the support struts for the engines and weapons pod. However, I could see this as a Mirror Universe Imperial BB so in that case practicality wins over a flashy paint job; nobody wants to stand out as an easily acquired target in battle... "Oh look over there! Everybody shoot the BIG ship with the flashy paint job!"

and maybe if i get time ill revisit and add some more detail on the secondary hull.. i can see some more lights and stuff being added.. but i dont think i would radically change the look.. the one thing, though, that is odd about that model i must say is that the impulse engine illumination map doesnt seem to want to work.. and the illum map on the roll bar is, well, non existant (it looks like the whole thing is lit up when i have black as the illum map. so, its not perfect and i still have to figure out why some of the illum maps work, but others dont.

I think you have the SFC1 version. I made a SFC2 version with an indented impulse engine and running lights. You might want to get that one.

nope.. thats all in game (sfc3).. i used the sfc3 glow tool (which can be downloaded at www.starfleetcommand3.net .
