Title: Will there be a second beta patch prior to a final patch release?

It'd sure be nice... every little bit helps, when you stop and think about it.

Again, as in all the other posts about a patch for SFC 3, Beta or Official.. those are released by Activision... Taldren tried before the current beta was released and it started all sorts of stuff between Activision and Taldren, including a possible law suit....

Taldren was forced to take their beta down 3 hours after putting it out to the public... Activision waited 1 moth to release the beta to the public after that fiasco...

ALL patches, material and content has to be approved by Activision prior to release... Period...

And, since Activision has proven themselves to be singularly unresponsive to the fan base of this game, I would have to say the answer to your question is no, Alexander. I swear, as much as I disliked Interplay, I kind of wish SFC3 had been done under their license...they had a more liberal patching policy towards the SFC series that has kept SFC, EAW, and OP going well past their nominal shelf lives.

Activision could learn a thing or two from that.
