I DO know for a fact that CFS3:BFE (Combat Flight Sim 3 :Battle for Europe) has released a patch (Not that it needed it...All 6 MB of it) as of yesterday...And CFS3 came out about the same time as SFC3:TNG (In Nov 2002)
I just feel sorry for the 56k guy that's going to have to DL this patch for SFC3...'Cause you KNOW it's going to be AT LEAST a 30+ MB Download.

SFC3 may be a little tardy on the patch, but comparing it to DNF? Which is now what, 7 years late? Totally unfair. I was going to present an analogy for wit, but I can't come up with one as lopsided as this.
How about:
That's like asking what is more annoying, AMMLs or Diakatana's cyberfrogs and cyberinsects.
SFC3 has problems, but keep a sense of perspective here. I've got a lot of games where I've waited a lot longer for a meaningful patch. As far as I'm concerned, I'm STILL waiting for one for War3.

No offense, but exactly how many times have we been told, in one form or another, that it will be done in a week, only to go back in a week to see the exact same message, one week added? last 3-4 weeks, I believe. I'm going to have to one-up everyone here and say that I expect the patch to come out approximately when I get the Golden Chocobo, finish ff10, win the Nobel Peace Prize, and beat the Original Shinobi.
No, in all seriousness, I believe it's comming. I like that its being tested to death. Nothing would be worse than having to defend 'Magic Plasmas' by saying that AMMMs have been drastically improved to compensate, except possibly a rear-firing heavy on the warbird

Once again, the patches are in Activision's hands. The progress on the US version looks *good*. They

I think I speak for everyone here that we want the patch to be in the best possible shape, before it is released.
I mean, no one wants a p.o.s. like the new 1.3 Battlefield 1942 patch...
