It does look a wee bit like the mirak XCA model.

The resemblance to the SFB Kzintis can't be an accident. They're too similar. Whoever did the models had to of done it on purpose. Now, possibly the producers didn't realize it. They might never of seen a Kzinti, but the modeler definitely did.

You know I never thought of that.....may be a good point.
There has been a lot of SFC in the Enterprise series and obviously they can't use the Kzinti name due to legalities with Niven so maybe they are playing off the idea on a whole. But instead of a feline race it's mutiple races.
Wonder if we get to see Lyran and Hydran ships next
