The impuse engine is on at the end of the secondary hull...like in the pic

I can tell you how to fix it pretty easily. Here is a couple diagrams I made for you with 3Dmax, but you could use any 3D modeling prog. It's just a few vertexes, all you need to do is view from the top and grab them and move them over until everything comes back into allignment.
I have uploaded a fixed mesh here.

Does anyone know how to make a greeble texture?
I've tried greebling a plane (using a greebling plugin) in Max and rendering it (so I could use it as a basis for a texture) but it obviously doesn't show up the edges of each of the raised bits in the render (something I failed to think of when I got the idea)...or maybe I should try rendering with the light source in a different position? I don't actually have hardly any experience with rendering....all I can do is a bit of modelling - I don't even use Max for texturing! Lol...HELP! Assistance required from one of the Knowledgeable Ones - it would be very gratefully received about now! :hint hint: Please!

IMHO texturing is the hardest part to get down, I'd say you about got it licked. How did you learn texturing? Was it just tooling around till you got familiar with software or from tutorials?

its not an insult, many of us are just very excited about this particular project- it would be difficult to divert this tension to another project; one that could potentially distract you from finishing the one we were initially excited about.

It will be finished but doing a texturing job is a very long process
and he has to adjust the mess and textures as he goes, and can have small changes in the model cause drastic changes in textures or vice versa.
He hasn't forgotten about it it is just going to be hard for him to find time before the holidays.

Depends on what kind of design it is, how many views of the design you have....etc
Post pictures in the forum and see who bites, you'll find that some modellers restrict what they make to certain eras or races - and many already have a lot of designs queued in their respective build lists already!
