Here she is the USS Invincible, an X-Ship Fire Support Cruiser. Also I have uploaded the Reliant-X Class NCL at my site as well, I just couldn't host one w/o the other. The Reliant was done by P81 quite awhile ago if I remember correctly, anyway here are the pics of the Invincible, and here is the link to go get her. Rogue Shipyards

Man...all these cool ships. I need to get off my arse and gie you a reason to open a bridge commander section

Beautiful and beautiful!
I am a very happy man today. At last, the Reliant has been ressurrected, as well as a new ship much like her sister ship.
Rogue, you're awesome! Admittedly, I didn't think bringing back your thread would result in this. It was one of those"well, what have I got to lose?" kinda things when I went back and brought the thread back up to the first page.
You have gone beyond my hopes!
Thank you!

good ship but i don't like the torpedo tube on the warp engine, its missing the mega phaser on the pylon suporting the torpedo tube, beside that the ship is good
-
Hmmmm...maybe this calls for a third version, eh Don?
-
Well I haven't seen any mega phasers on X-Ships yet, and the ones I had did not look right so I left them off. I am open to ideas on that though, and thanks for the interest.

Well, as these are X-ships I'd imagine the megaphaser has seen improvements as well. Such improvements like higher output, higher efficiency, and like other technologies, a reduction of the size of the components. Take computer hardware. An extreme example: today's pocket calculator has more computing power than the room-sized UNIVAC of the 1950s.
So how about reducing the size of the megaphaser emitters, making them less prominent on the rollbar? Or instead of a cone like on the first Reliant, how about a precursor to the phaser strip of the Next Generation era ships? Like a small raised dome or oval with a 360 degree range?
Just some ideas for you to ponder...
