Hiya guys as you've obviously guessed I'm the new faceless crewman (no away missions for me...), BTW big props to Taldren for getting me on here!  

Anyways, there is a mesh of a ship I would like in SFC3 but having no modelling or any skills corellating to ship making in the SFC trilogy, I need you talented people's help.

The ship class is the Khitomer class, the mesh is on this awesome  site , under federation meshes. I would kind of like a working model (ie the break models, models, beauty shots, TI shots etc etc). Since the mesh is not my nor any of yours work I'd like full credit for the mesh to the author please.

Of course we need someone to host the finished work then I need lamans terms instructions for the stupid (me) to install the ship. I'm thinking destroyer -> light cruiser advanced, at least 4 phaser banks and two torpedo tubes, I'll come up with a story for the readme etc, and in a seperate post I'll post the image of the Khitomer if you can't find it.

So if someone can do this for me that would be SO super awesome!

this is like Post-DS9 I guess, no TOS kinda stuff or anything like that, I don't like the original series...

Lol, relax kiddo, Atra was just messin with you newbie...

I think i remember The Khitomer being around somewhere...I suggest taking a look at a site by Kane Anuenue: The Station.
Id toss a URL at the end of this, but i cannot remember it.

Ooop, looks like i was wrong...

Not sure where the Khitomer can be found...Try doing a search on it.

there was one being amde by 7 is mine at STGN, but he never backed anything up and I dunno how many times he crashed and kept losing all his work...lol I don't think it was ever finished. Aside from CGI stuff that's way too high poly for games, I don't know of a single decent model out there. I've been lookin for one for ages.

that stinks... is it possible for anyone to make an Ophidian class starship? It's pretty nice, under Fed Galleries only though so no weird poly stuff

I think that may be just how I am reading this. But the mesh would be credited to whoever makes it for SFC, with the desgn being credited to whoever made the original. Might be a good idea to contact the designer to see if they even want thier ship converted or remeshed for SFC.  I like this ship, had it in my sig at one point.

Oh and TOS is the best, and without it there would be no other eras- lol-

hmm ok that does sound better. I tried getting his email from the Designer/Creator thingy but it sent me to a site where I didn't see his alias again therefore I couldn't find his email...
