Title: SFC3 Macro v1.1 released
Post by: Vertigo on February 11, 2003, 04:04:58 pm
(The prior thread was getting waaaay too long, so I'm starting over here.)

I've released SFC3MACRO version 1.1.  This macro utility adds additional hotkey functionality to SFC3.  Specifically, you can manage your energy settings and speed much faster with this tool.

Energy Settings: You can create "energy presets" and cycle through them at the touch of the button.  This is great for advanced players who like to "power down" heavy weapons while they reload.

Speed: "a" and "s" now change speed by 1/4 impulse every time, making them much more useful.  You can go from stopped to full ahead by just pressing the "s" key 4 times.

Full documentation is included in the ZIP file.

I would be glad to use it ..but i can't. Each time I try to use it, the mouse on the SFC III menus doesn't work. It is not the macro fault... as I had noticed already that each time I try to load SFC III with a folder open or other aplication working ( IE, outlook etc) I loose the ability to click on SFC III menus..

Since none of the code is really dependent on SFC3 internals, it should work no matter what the patch does.

Just a bug fix.  The OnOff command was messed up in v1.1, and has been fixed.

Title: Does SFC3 Macro v1.2 work with GSA?
Post by: GFL_Tygra on June 17, 2003, 05:48:55 pm
Vertigo,

Great utility.  Nice job and many thanks.

2 questions:
(1) I noticed in order to use the utlity you must start the macro which executes sfc3.exe.  Is there any way to configure SFC3 for the macro utility will load for use when playing on-line with GSA?

(2) I seem to have a bug when I cycle through 1 of my custom profile settings where it sets shields to zero.  Here is the actual Energy Profile in my SFC3Macro.ini:
[Hull 2 Energy Profile]
BALANCE_HEAVY=110p, 200h, 105s
DEFAULT=150p, 130h, 150s
MAX_HEAVY=80p, 200h, 100s
MAX_PRIMARY=200p, 130h, 100s
MAX_SHIELDS=150p, 100h, 200s

Do you see anything wrong here that would cause 1 of the cycles to reduce shields to 0?

Thanks,

Hey, I'm back now.  Kinda.  Still no patch, I see.  Sigh.

Anyway, does anyone have any suggestions for SFC3Macro?  Anyone still playing SFC3?

Is this thing on?

Did you happen to notice the date on our "favorite" estranged Rommie's post, Grav. It was from back in June. Sadly, Tully sightings are now rarer than alien abductions.
