REGARDING SFC2OP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Ok its kinda hard to explain so Im going to break it down, in the sound file, some sounds effects get 2 options such as yellow alert, or red alert voices, each of this has to options to choose from or two voices to choose from, to give it variety, here are two line from the sounds txt
wave kVoice_RedAlert_Fed_1 1FGEN01_a.wav
wave kVoice_RedAlert_Fed_2 1FGEN03_a.wav
As you see there two options that the game gets to choose, so you dont here the same boring sound over and over, in every mission lol, but what im asking is can you add more options such as 3 or 4 maybe, maybe, kirk, sisko, picard, and janeways voice saying red alert, but in every mission you hear anyone, not just the 2 there, can it be done

I have not tried adding a 3 or 4 but you raise a good point. I'll give it a shot and let you know.

Yes I can confirm it. I added a 3rd red alert voice and the game used it. Apparently it alternates. NIce idea adam.
You will find that a mod is never completely finished. It's like making a new game, lol. Even if you release with some bugs, you can always issue an update. Alas we are all human.
You should hear my OP now. I have the Nemesis Sovereign from BC in there with some BC Phaser audio. At speeds 10 and 11 it has a real TNG feel to it.

Thanks, quick question, did you just copy the file red alert, one of the two and just put it underneith the existing ones, and add the sound name too it, was that all......, and another question regarding your scenery mod, the last I heard people were talking about those funny nebulas that looked blochy, did you make an update???, thx Chris.

I took this
kVoice_RedAlert_Fed_2
and made it this
kVoice_RedAlert_Fed_3 and added a totally different sound for this one.
and copied it in just below the '2' version in sounds.txt
Haven't had time for an update on the scenery mod -- I'll try and get to it.
I have a busy schedule of late..
You can tell the boys (and girls?) I have not forgotten.

I'm mostly interested in the ones in the federation section, which I think I know most
P - Police
D - Drone
E - Escort
C - ???
M - Marines
R - ???
S - Scout
T - Tournament
NT - No Transporter or Cannot be transported on to
V -
If you know others but they are not in the game, don't bother, it'll just confuse, I know there have to be tons of them in SFB texts and stuff, but Im only concerned with the ones in the game, thanks though,

D - destroyer or drone
DDG - drone destroyer - it's in SFC
C - Cruiser as in CA = heavy cruiser, also command as in CC = command cruiser
G - marines I think, I'd have to check but I don't think M is used much for Fed ships
SC - scout, not S
V - carrier
NT - never heard of it being used actually
R - rear as in the CAR is the CA with the rear phaser arc refit, 'R' refits came before the '+' refits.

Well NT, is used, it allows no transporters used against the vessel, PF have them, so you cant transport on them, I havent seen SC, in any of the special roles, on S, check in the shiplist, instead of G, its M, on the special roles, sooo, now im really confused......

Ok After alot of research I figured it out ,
P is used as Police, all police ships in any race use this, check in the shiplist if you dont believe me
D is drone, all vessels, with the drone refit have this
E is escort, check it is
C for command, Vampire was right
M is for commando ships, marines
S is for scout vessel
R, this is the only one im confused on, please help me out?????????????????????????????????????????
V is for carriers
T is for tournament ships only
NT, use for installation such as defense platform, so no one can beam in, and PF
Remember need help with the R, thanks

Well it's been a long time since I modded SFC2 or OP. But I will be available for the next day, I finally have a day off tommarow and I want to terrorize all areas of SFC.
I just now got home, so I will be looking into it soon. Please list any remaining Q's and I will see what I can dig up.

R means "Restricted". That means it will not show up in the shiplist at all in a D2 enviornment. Everything else you have listed is correct. The ISC also have an "I" designation that I have never found out what that means. The other one you missed was "A" which means Mauler.

LOL I was just joking about the bump, the next question i got for you is the dump music.txt file, is there an easier way to mod it, than rather just copying a file and rename it
