Title: Karemma Update

I finished the mesh (unless Starforce still has some suggestions), and cleaned it up alot. Got down from 6000 polies to under 3000. Pics are here:

Wow, that's one cool looking ship.  I can't wait to see the textures.

This is clearly the best dominion ship model I've ever seen. Now to get someone to start on remakes of all the other Dominion ships. I think the models will be the easy part. Getting the textures to look right, like clearly being dominion in origin yet not looking cartoonish would be the hardest part. I wonder who would be the best choice for that... Smiley maybe?  Maybe WZ45 would take a stab at it? His texturing style would look really good on Dominion ships with the right colors.

That is an awesome ship Desty... someome tell me, waht sort of role did that play? I can only catch the sporadic reruns... what were they like?

That's high praise....thanks man. Anyway, I was planning to do the textures myself, but if someone else wants to take a stab at it, I'd be willing to let them try.

Thanks. The Karemma appeared in a single episode of DS9. They're a subject race of the Dominion. This particular ship is a trading vessel, not equipped for combat. The role it played was that it was in trouble and the Defiant had to save its ass.

Oh, thats pretty cool.... but, heck, I'd still stock it up as a warship, lol!

yea, nothing like a good dominion rebelian to give ya an excuse to blast some more bugships.

Not at the moment. Had something to work out before I started them. I'll try to have some progress to report soon, though.
