Airs at 7PM central on Cartoon Network. Done by the same man responsible for Samurai Jack. The promotions and the website ( here ) look promising.
Watch it.

how much do you wanna bet it turns out head and shoulders better than anything LucasFilm puts out?
-
It'll be at least better than the Ewoks cartoon.

Not that that would take any increase in story telling ability.

Considering LucasFilms has the license, only they can put out Star Wars films and movies.
In anycase, I can't say how the series will compare to the movies until I see the series, but Genndy Tartakovsky is simply amazing. In fact a animated Star Wars series has always been something he wish to do. He has a rather large love of Star Wars and this can be seen somewhat in Samurai Jack.
I have high expectations.

It is own tonight. It is only a brief five minute episode, so don't miss it.
I believe you may be able to download the episode off the main website incase you do miss it, though. I am not quite sure.
-
Whoa. Thanks for reminding us, I almost forgot.
-
Personally I think it's going to be annoying to watch in 5 min. increments. I'll probably record it then watch the whole thing.

Agreed. I didn't know it was going to be 5 minute BS episodes.
*sigh*
I saw it, was disappointed.

Now that were short. On the bloody bright side, it wouldn't 'urt ter miss one since yer can stream it off the official site the bloomin' next day.
-
Chapter 2 was on last night. It was, I believe, better than chapter 1.
It seems that we a chapter every weeknight at seven. Tonight's #3.

Episodes 1-5 will air from 7.30pm (ET/PT) with approximately two breaks.

Just watched the first two chapters they posted on the Internet. All I can say is that...wow, I couldn't stop laughing. I thought the acting was pretty bad in the prequels as was the writing, but I think this just might be worse. However, it's great humor...I really laughed and chuckled at all the hilarity all the way through.
Is it meant to be that, a spoof/comedy on Star Wars?
-
5 min episodes is too annoying to watch. They are like commercials. All of them air on Friday so I'll watch them then.
I don't understand why they can't make full length cartoons. They would sell toys like crazy.
