Title: Where can I download StarWars Model/Ships for SFC3

I have seen Screen shoots of ISD in SFC I dont know if it was 1, 2, or 3 but does anybody know where I can download starwars ships for STC3.

I made a bunch but with no damage textures ,i  had them online for a while but i took them down for retexture last month,  i wana try and get the textures more accurate.   Here is a pic of some of them.

I have about 30 of them in my DomWars Mod, I have more on my hard-drive. I could use someone to re-texture them, not that they look bad, they look superb, but they use a lot of textures. I could do with the number of textures used being cut down heavily. Here's a pic of my Imperial Star Destroyer (of which I have 4 different versions)

Pelican. Do you by any chance have a snowspeeder model?? I'm looking for one fairly urgently. Or does anyone know where there might be one??

BTW. Excellent work on that star destroyer. Truely excellent work. If I wasn't engaged in my own project at the moment I'd sort out your models for you.

There you go, no installation instructions, I presume you know how to do that yourself. As you'll see when you open the Model folder, the number of textures is a problem. I have models which are far larger in size, I did have a few P81's that were 15-20MB(unzipped), but I made a few changes to the Texture Sizes & converted them to 8-bit. Now it looks almost exactly the same, but takes up only 20% of the space, and therefore, far less RAM.

If you want lots of Star Wars Ships, download the Dominion Wars Mod from sfc3files.com there are about 30 in there, I have quite a few more which I haven't yet converted. I'd like to solve the existing problems first!!! Besides, there isn't a great demand for Star Wars ships.

I'd love to get more of your ships, but as I'm just a 56ker and only play SFC OP, that woulkd pose problems.

But that doed bring up another question: do you have Star Wars battle stations or space stations?

Hey Pelican!

I d/l'd the Star Destroyer last night and tried her out. She works a-okay!

I was wondering if you had any other Star Destroyers such as the Executor or Eclipse Class?

I have an alternative Star Destroyer, I call it the "Imperator Class Star Destroyer", but I think it's actually meant to be the ISD Mark II. I have the Imperial Interdictor Cruiser, the Victory Star Destroyer and of course the Super Star Destroyer. I also have a full set of TIE fighters. The Imperial Shuttle, the Prey Bird, and probably a few more Imperial ships as well. I have a pretty good set of Rebel Alliance Ships as well. I've never really counted how many Star Wars ships I have.

To be honest, the Super Star Destroyer doesn't look all that good, but the pic is below anyway. I'm not entirely sure which ship is the TIE Defender, I have a TIE advanced, a TIE Fighter, a TIE Interceptor, a TIE "gunner", a TIE Bomber, the TIE Interceptor (pic below) and I have a TIE X1, but it will not load in game, not figured out why yet.

I've included a pic of a more familiar ship instead....

The Super Star Destroyer may not be the best looking ship out there, but Ilike 'er!

And the TIE Interceptor and X-Wing are sweet!

Would you mind sharing them?

Oh, I forgot one earlirer: the Interdictor Cruiser.

I know this is a lot, and I don't want to be a pain, so is it possible to post links here  at least temporarily?

If this is just too time consuming, etc. please let me know. I'll understand completely!

I've compiled a zip file with all 32 Star Wars Ships that I currently have converted to SFC, it's 13.5MB, I'm making it available to download for you now. If you use a download manager, that shouldn't be too much trouble for you, even on 56K.

Everything from an A-Wing, the Interdictor Cruiser, the Victory Star Destroyer (my personal favourite), the Z-95 Headhunter, etc. - plenty to choose from.

Ah, I do have that ship, but not converted to SFC yet, I have many SW Ships not yet converted to SFC.

Hmmm...got a dumb, ignorant question:

I'll be d/ling using a 56k connection so how will using  a download manager help out?

All I usually do is click the link and d/l the zip into a folder I create.

A download manager allows you to continue failed downloads, or to stop a download & continue it at a later date.

I mahanged to download the file in under two hours, with no interuptions by so miracle!

I couldn't believe my good luck.

All the models are superb (and over 30 like you said!) I'll love adding 'em to my game!

And thanks for the advice SSCF_LeRoy. However, I did find I have a download manager after all, but I appreciate your input!

Just be wary of putting too many of them into battle with each other, the number of texture files is still a problem. There are Models which require far more memory, but few require so many Textures. I'm working on a way to reduce the number.
