This is the original Tholian ship from TOS. After the Tholians arrived in our galaxy, they were only capable of building ships of this size. For a long time, these diminutive vessels were all that stood between the Holdfast and total destruction at the hands of the Klingons. Considering the circumstances, the ships did an outstanding job. Eventually, the Tholian shipyard was able to produce cruiser and dreadnought-sized hulls based on the Patrol Corvette design, however PC's still remain an important part of the Holdfast's defenses.
Coming soon!

SWEETNESS!!!!
Tholians
-
What kind of creature are the Tholians?
-
Crystaline Silicone-based, Hive mentality creatures...That are very territorial, and have a great sense of spacial and temporal understanding

in the SFB They ruled an entire Galaxy
-
But got kicked out by a bunch of overgrown cockroaches - the Seltorians.
Not a complaint really but aren't the SFB Tholians a copper colour? I get that this one is to look more like the TOS ones but I'm so used to the SFB colour scheme since Brezzgone's Tholians.
-
I personally love this scheme...the copper-bronze is cool but this is cooler...because, it has not been realy done before...especially as a whole fleet

Keep going Desty...you are the man
and you have my vote
-
Good work man.You did a fine job.
-
Thanks guys. I realize the SFB Tholians are copper colored, but I wanted a slightly more 'cannon' color scheme on mine. I plan to do all the PC-based hulls in this color scheme, however I'm not sure about the Neo-Tholian ships. They might just look wrong to me this way, we'll see.

Looks good Desty.
The PC isn't a ship to get too excited about flying, being so small. I'm waiting for the Tholians, the ultimate "kitbashers", to start sticking these little babies together though and then the ships get a lot more interesting to fly. The CW is one of my favorite light cruiser designs, spec wise. The CA and DN are a challenge due to their split arcs, but still fun to maneuver them trying to get enough weapons in arc to worry someone. Deciding which weapons to use power arming and which ones to leave so you can use the power for movement is very challenging, tactically. Anyways, Keep 'em coming, man!
