What is the name of the class of ship for the Federation Battleship in SFC1 and 2? I would very much like to know if this ship is available for use in SFC3. Thanks.

it is not available in sfc3.. there really isnt a name for it other than F-BB. if there is (for sfc1 and 2) im sure one of the sfb guys coule tell you. other than that, i would call it the yamoto class (probably butchered that).

Well, the stock Fed BB in SFC2 has "USS Yamato" printed on its hull. In SFB, the conjectural Fed BB was to be the "Mars-Class". Additionally, 3 other names were allocated to the class: USS Kali, USS Nebu, and USS Ares.

It's the same as one of the FBBs from Klingon Academy and is called the Yamato class (the other, boat-like FBB in that game is the Missouri). It's supposedly the only one of that class built, and is an experimental and expensive beast of a starship.

In SFB, it's the Mars class. Conjectural of course.

What was the name of The Ship in the books Dreadnaught and Battlestations? I know It's not cannon, But I can't recall the names to save my life.

IIRC it was USS Star Empire, which was straight out of the Franz Joseph Tech Manual.

Thanks for the info you guys. I really appreciate it. I was hoping that the Battleship would also be available for SFC3, since most of the ships from SFC 1 and 2 were eventually ported over to SFC3. But since this ship hasn't been converted for SFC3, would it be too much to ask if someone could make an SFC3 version? And about the Mars Class, isn't that the ship with a Constitution type design, but with two extra nacelles attached to the back part of the saucer? I wouldn't mind seeing an SFC3 version of this ship as well. Sorry. Just like lots of different ships to choose from. Hope no one minds.
