Never played any of the warcraft games but Im geting restless again, and Im not a big starwars fan, and it might be kinda fun playing a orc or undead person
Guess I should have said RTS or is it a little bit of both?.
-
It was good fun. I still go back and play the campaign every now and then.
-
"Was" being the operative word for me..I lost the game
-
Since coming back to SFC3, I haven't played Warcraft 3 in quite a while. It's a fun game, though. Maybe if I got the expansion as a gift next month....
-
Heh, I just got around to getting another copy of WC3 and the expansion. I gave my old copy to my stepson awhile back.
ironicly, I'm also just getting around to playing Age of Mythology/Titans.
Still kinda fun, though.

I used to spend ages on WC3 just clicking on the characters to hear them say something funny.
-
I play age of mythology/titans a bit, mostly skirmishes - the titans expansion is pretty darn short.

What is this WC3 RPG thing you guys are talking about?

Anyone gonna try worlds of warcraft when it comes out?.

I liked WarCraft 3 a lot. I liked the "Frozen Throne" expansion better. And I liked the "Bonus Campaign" in Frozen Throne, that was like a mini-RPG, the best.
I am geeked for Worlds of Warcraft. Everyone about that has "big enourmous hit" written all over it. I've played a few MMORPG's. They are a lot of fun, but they all share some basic problems. Blizzard looks like it has a plan to address each and every one of my concerns that come from prior games.
They are the Gold Standard developer. They produce games that are as close to perfect as possible. I'm sure it will be amazing.

I play WC3 almost nightly.
I love playing the tower defense maps on battlenet.
Raven-Nevermore is the Bnet name.
GE-Raven
-
Doh! That's the RTS, not a RPG!
-
that's cool Raven, Maybe we all need to get online some evening and see how we do against each other . hehe, I know I'm an absolute Newb still on that game.

I guess a link is needed for those not introduced to the way of the RPG

here's something for you D2o freaks (I can proudly say, I'm not one of them)
War Craft RPG not the RTSG

I read that Blizzard started development for WoW at about the same time as WCIII. Since then, WWIII has been finished and its expansion has been completed, while WoW isn't even beta yet. Luckily, I have Ghost to hold me over.
It is very likely WoW will be my first MMORPG.

Well I should fess up, I was talking about the massive multiplayer online world of warcraft and thought that is what warcraft 3 was My mistake. And after finding the site for it, its not due out untill next year.
And I did not even know about the D&D version at all thanks for the link.
