Title: SFC windows platforms

How well does SFC all vewrsions play on ME or now XP?  We hope to get XP soon as we have to replace the computer so I am hoping we can still play all the SCF games with it.  How stable are they on ME or XP?  Is there a diff btwn using a Pentium III or 4 vs say an athelon 1 gig.
