Ok i've been watching for 1 hour. from the begining.
i've seen blondes with big chests.. no talent live music..
And
The most anticipated games of 2004.
Question..
Why are all the Most anticipated games all FPS and driver games?
Was this a ply for attention from the Huge makers of the gamming industry?
I'm thinkning it was.. so far.. Activision has 3 awards. Yuck
All of them are crappy games.
Best PC game?? Halo.. humm another FPS
-
ohh i forgot to tell you all the winners were posted before the Show actually aired..
Winners of the VGA
my guess is they didn't want 1 game winning more than 1 award.

Look, "Dead of Alive XTreem Beach Vollyball" got the best animation award instead of WarCraft III: Frozen Throne.
As bouncy as the former was, the latter was clearly much better animation.
This was, in no way, a serious award show.

Basically it was a crappy show designed to sell XBOX and PS2 games.
I watched it for about 10 mins and then had to turn it off.
-
It is a sad day in the world of gaming.
-
Sad day? I'd say uneventful, unless something else happened we should know about... oh yes, ST: KoTOR was released in europe today.

-
As soon as I saw that the game of the year was a football game I turned it off.
I did enjoy the MXC marathon that was on before the awards show.
-
Enter the Matrix beat Knights of the Old Republic? UNBELIEVABLE! Did they even play the games?
-
Did you guys look at the poll? I commented on it in a thread posted by Tremok - each selection (FPS, RPG, RTS, etc) had only three choices, and often one was for each platform, PC, X-Box and PS2.
It was idiotic; you could enter off-ballot entries but as you know, those never gets high ratings. You usually only had one possible selection for PC game of the year in a class, for instance.. the whole thing was a meaningless exercize unless you somehow owned both a PS2, PC, and X-Box, and had extensive collections for all three (Not bloody likely).

what little I saw of the lame as VGA awards made me sick. Jenna Jameson? EWWWW Funking nasty! Dude, whats with crappy music, horrible looking pornstars and tons of chicks who should be live action barbies doing with video game awards? Its bad enough that the E3 I went to was like that ( the reason I wont go back ).
Was such a disapointment
