Bought this book today, so far its pretty could, havnt been able to put it down. This is (shamefully) my first Trek book as I have never been able to get a copy.. could anyone reccommend a good one for after Ive read this?

One of the absolute best is "The Final Reflection" by John M. Ford.

Doh, was looking at that today, but put it back on the shelf and lost it lol. So I went for this instead, pretty good so far..just cant imagine Picard being 28

The best two Trek novels I've read are "Best Destiny" and "Federation". Both have been rendered impossible to reconcile with canon events thanks to "Generations" and "First Contact", but they make good reading anyway.

i've only read one, but it was rather enjoyable its The Sundered, from the lost era series. finished the damned thing in 2 days though
that was the extremly annoying part

Lol, Ive had this book about 20 hours now, most of which Ive slept through and Im nearly half way through..just cant put it down.

I highly Concure with this suggestion. there's something about George Kirk that just stands out. I had always wished they published what happened to him in his later years when he went off to romulan space.
