One that includes algorithms for PA panels?
It would be greeatly appreciated!!!

Uh what? Which game and what were you talking about?

He's talking about Panels from SFB rules that could be included in a patch for SFC:OP. It would definitly be cool, but it would probably be too much coding for a simple patch.
I hope I'm wrong on that though because it would make SFC:OP a big hit I think with many SFB fans.

Erm; wasn't a lot of the missing race's features codes into the game then blocked out when they could not complete them it time? (Or something like that) For example the TR beams are actually in the game, just not used. You can enable them by altering the ship loadouts manually IIRC. If so they were "patched" out and could be similarly patched in. The PA stuff might be like that.

I think the TR beams were left in as easter eggs for fans.. They weren't removed on purpose.

I think you're right, too. 
You know what? I'd rather they don't do anything now, and make another SFC game later that includes all the aspects of the Andros, so that the true menace is experienced for what it was supposed to be.

Same here. The game could do with a bit of an overhaul before andros are introduced anyway - bolting on bits of code now will only undermine stability in the game.

I think the TR beams were left in as easter eggs for fans.. They weren't removed on purpose.
IIRC, the TR beam was actually an advanced era heavy weapon for one of the other races, but the race got a different weapon instead, and the TR beam name was added later.

TR Beam had precusor-
The Juggernaut Direct Fire weapon IIRC.
Later when the Andro's were added, they Ported some of that into Andro.
Same with the Moving Shield, that idea became the PA panel idea.

Actually, this isn't right. The Juggernaut came out with Captains Log #1 and the Andros came about in Expansion set #1.
Expansion #1 came out way before any captains logs were done. That is unless you have some kind of inside info into Task Force Games, in which case I'll just shut up.
