God damn I cannot stand it any more! The colossal stupidity of it, and endless irritation. What bothers me most, go to the drugstore, look at the shelves, and you'll find it nearly sold out all the time... people are buying this crap!
I have been sooo tempted to take a bottle of it up to the pharmacist and ask if it will really induce an orgasm in its user...
I have called the Advertising Standards Council of Canada about it but, I guess simulated orgasm is acceptable dinnertime advertising - no warning notice required.
At least clariol has toned them down a bit recently, they dont scream quite as loud or as long, but it is still a simulated orgasm. The most offensive version was one where three men washed one womans hair while she screams in extasy, and the commercial concludes when a nice big blob of white lather splashes over an onlooking womans face... I guess that one was too much.
If you are seeing these commercials in your area, please complain to the appropriate standards agency.

Try turning your TV down very low during commercials so you only hear the loudest parts, the kind that would normally grab your attention from another room where you cannot see the screen, what kinds of sounds would bring you back from the fridge to see the screen? God damn I cannot stand it any more! The colossal stupidity of it, and endless irritation. What bothers me most, go to the drugstore, look at the shelves, and you'll find it nearly sold out all the time... people are buying this crap!
I have been sooo tempted to take a bottle of it up to the pharmacist and ask if it will really induce an orgasm in its user...
I have called the Advertising Standards Council of Canada about it but, I guess simulated orgasm is acceptable dinnertime advertising - no warning notice required.
At least clariol has toned them down a bit recently, they dont scream quite as loud or as long, but it is still a simulated orgasm. The most offensive version was one where three men washed one womans hair while she screams in extasy, and the commercial concludes when a nice big blob of white lather splashes over an onlooking womans face... I guess that one was too much.
If you are seeing these commercials in your area, please complain to the appropriate standards agency.

Try turning your TV down very low during commercials so you only hear the loudest parts, the kind that would normally grab your attention from another room where you cannot see the screen, what kinds of sounds would bring you back from the fridge to see the screen?
