In about 2-3 weeks, GamerZ Inc. will be walking away from ladder leagues forever and establishing a new Divisional League for SFC: EAW
Ladder matches are a thing of the past. This League is centered around the 3 man ( or woman, or thing for you Hydrans) team, which will compete against other 3 man teams within their conference in weekly scheduled matches. Eventually, this will move to playoffs to determine the ultimate Champions.
None League games can still be played and reported as Scrimmage games.
Teams are race based and terms for each week's games are determined before hand by Admins - you won't get bogged down in dreaded negotiations or risk getting pigeon-holed into unfavorable terms where your skill in flying as a team is not truly measured. Further, the player community has a powerful voice in determining what terms are used in order to develop a commonly accepted base line of 'fair'
'Fleets' can be as small as 3 individuals, or as big as you like - but they can only field one 3 person team (not necessarily the same 3 people every time). No longer will great uber fleets dominate gameplay through sheer volume of players.
GamerZ Inc has invested in SFC since 2001, being owned/operated by gamers who love this game. Despite this games age, it is felt that there is still uncharted territory here to explore.
I know many of you who frequent this forum are strictly Dynaverse players. While I know Ladder and Dynaverse players seem like oil and water, I think Dynaverse players are precisely the kind of players we want to attract and who will also find value in this system. Further, since the League play is made up of weekly scheduled matches, you'll still have the freedom to be involved in your D2 play since you won't feel compelled to have to deal with the often unsavory task of hunting for ladder games.

lol - the post in this part of the forum didn't get much action, so I let it slide.
