Please go to http://www.sfcx.org/modules.php?name=News&file=article&sid=157 and read this article.

This is important, not for me but for others far less fortunate.

Peace.

Yes, it's a wonderful idea. The guys at Penny-Arcade have proven that, despite their cynical exteriors, they have really big hearts. They've already received so many donated games that they've outgrown their garage, and a first donated warehouse space. Those kids are about to have the best Christmas ever.

And you should be going to that site anyway, as it is easily the funniest online comic for gamers, period.

Just as an appendix to this, I would like to congratulate the guys at Penny Arcade for their rallying of gamers everywhere in support of this worthwhile cause.

They gathered more electronic games and educational toys than you could shake the proverbial stick at, not to mention the cash donations of more than $27,000.

The next time some stupid politician or pundit tries to tell you that video games are responsible for all manner of terrible things, I invite you to ask him if this is an example of one of those.

Happy Holidays,

feargusf
