Title: Windows 98 deprecated
Post by: Scott Allen Abfalter on December 15, 2003, 08:25:28 am

Anyone else notice that Windows 98 has been end-of-lifed?

http://story.news.yahoo.com/news?tmpl=story&u=/ap/20031213/ap_on_hi_te/microsoft_windows_support_3

I am still using Windows 98 at home and at work.  (XP coming for my home computer soon).

I wonder, do some folks never read the boards but just pop in and post, then flee...

ToastyQ,

As a matter of point, I do not read every single post that everyone has ever posted.  I don't have time for that.  I don't think it is reasonable to expect that everyone posting here will be fully conversant with every single post that had ever been put here, either.

All I was trying to do is be helpful.  I don't think it's fair to slam me for doing so.

Slam?

That's taking it a bit harshly. Maybe a tough tease, but a slam?! Not in this lifetime.

Best,
Jerry
