No spoilers from me folks, all I can say is great film, cant wait for the special edition.
Noticed they missed out parts from the trailer, guess they will make it into the spec ed.
e.g. Gandalfs meeting with the Witch King
-
Mind you it is hard to post spoilers when most peeps here have read the book, maybe it should be a what was left out thread.
I certainly noticed parts of the film were edited, the story lost continuity in parts.
I guess like The Two Towers spec ed this film will be awesome, I saw TTT SE at the flicks yesterday and it was all I was hoping for in that film.

I cannot wait to see it. I was going to go last night, to the midnight showing, but my wife had work to do. She got no sleep, so I cannot take her tonight, for she would be too tired to appreciate it. So, I hope to go Thursday, but it has to be at night, for she works.
The pain of anticipation is extensive, but that makes it only better in the end.
You're right. For those of us who have read the books, dozens of times, in some cases, there is no spoiler you might post.

Very good movie. Worth the 3 hours and 10 minutes (or so) in the theater.
-
Well, Jackson did deviate from the books.
I still can't get over how funny the scene was where the German panzer runs right over that ice cream truck!
-
Whaddya mean? That's in the book.

Personally, I was waiting for that pig-faced orc commander to scream out "CUUUURSE YOUUUUU GAADGET!"
-
Did he have the clap or something...not pretty
