The guy was already worth millions before he won. This reminds me of a Dallas Cowboys football player in Austin who was thrown off the team for drug abuse, later on a couple of years ago he spent 100 dollars and won 28 million in the Texas lottery. Needless to say, he does not live poorly in East Austin anymore.
