The meat is ham, roastbeef and or bologna.
Me im not too cleaver Pickles, Katchup, Mustard, cheese, and onion once in a while, that's about it for me.

Cheese and Branston Pickle - yum yum.
Or
Cook some toast, dont butter it. And put some spicy flavour crisps inside - damn thats heaven.

A good grilled cheese sandwich has ALWAYS been my favorite. BLT runs a close second though!

Toasted light rye, hot dijon mustard, smoked ham sausage, old cheddar and garlic dills!
(no margarine/butter - blecch!)
A friend of mine stands by peanut butter and salami... 
Another friend introduced me to the "leftover sandwich"
(stew, chili, spaghetti or whatever between two slices of bread - they're all good!)

16" Italian Roll
Turkey+Roast-beef+Boiled Ham+Salami
Provalone cheese
Shredded iceburg lettuce
Jersey tomatoes
Oil+Vinegar
Oregano+Salt+Pepper
cram it closed and put it on a plate with a crisp garlic pickle from the barrell.

Being a vegan, I have slightlly different tastes, but I like a nice Reuben made with marinaded tempeh and soy cheese. Also you can't go wrong with a nice fake meat hoagie swimming in vinegar and oil preferably on a hard roll.

1. sesame seeded Italian bread (French will do, though)
2. either (not both) pastrami or corned beef (with mucho fat);
3. a slight bit of mayonnaise, NOT slathered on (sometimes a touch of mustard, too)
4. tomatoes and lettuce
5. salt and pepper
6. a whole half sour pickle, but on the side
A. washed down with lime seltzer
B. potato chips on the side
C. capped off with a GOOD cup of black coffee (wine will do sometimes)

I love that stuff but it tastes like it's 99+44/100% cholesterol. I like it on either crackers or thinly sliced bread with some substance to it.
Same for chinese duck liver sausages... oooh, they're great! But the cholesterol in livers... oy.
