Title: Terran Empire Fleet

Made a few changes to my proposed shiplist, but as promised, heres the Terran Empire fleet with my reworked textures. Some worked out better than others, but I'm pleased with the result.

Full credit for the models and original textures to the model authors.



As soon as I get permissions from WZ and P81, the pack will be released. It weighs in at around 16mb.

EDIT: Sorry, I forgot to add Mackie's name to the Galahad, sorry bud.

I can only really make on suggestion
Make the deflectors and the Warp-grills and the impulse dome green

Yeah I can see where you are coming from, I have seen some Terran designs with green, but it's not my preference.

I'm sure I could change them for individual releases later if people prefer.

Oh yeah, this is oh so cool!

This pack is gonn abe HUGE though.

My 56k connection is gonna start smokin' and shottin' sparks when it tries to grab this one.

Any way to perhaps at least split the pack into halves or thirds?

Will the ships registries be ISS?
It does not seem right keeping them as USS.

They look great!!! Very well done, by the render. I'd like to see different glows, too. Just to make it very obvious that they aren't Feds in game. Not because they don't look good as they are and they wouldn't have to necessarily be green (Although, that might look good, as well.). WHERE THE HECK IS I_Mudd??? He e-mailed me a list a while ago and said that he had the meshes for his Terrans almost all completed.

Yeah they are all 'ISS'

Rod, for GaW I'll take the specific ships you want to use and experiment with glows. We will discuss it on the dev board.

I'd like to see your different versions as well.

I always thought red glows were an appropriate color for the Terran Empire.

Not that I'm trying to dissuade you from trying the green ones (as I'd like to see how they turn out) but it may be something to consider during your experiments.

Believe me, I'm not complainin' here, but didn't you forget the stock FCX from SFC2 and OP?

The stock FCX is also named excalibur, and the two are classed the same. I liked  the version above alot more, and the Galahad fits the XBC role perfectly.

In any case, I managed to d/l the fleet last night.

It took about 1hr 45min or so on a 56k modem.

The ships look great!!
