She wants to what the big girls do, ready to try anything new, she wants to do what the big girls do.
I thought was Don Henley but I was wrong, it is a mid 80's tune. Cali style when MTV rocked the house and Cali was white.
BTW that is not racist, I'm just saying what was back then. I have a friend from my childhood that his mom told me she got laid on Corpus Christi beach on the hood of a car and noone was in sight, Seth and I and Rogue can tell you that it is too crowded now, there is barely any bare beach left.

I too have also been in a search for two songs... Unfortunately I cannot provide much detail, only a few lyrics.
Song 1, the main lyrics had seemed to be "Kick him when he's down." or something to that extent.
Song 2, something like, "Mightnight train to memphis." pretty heavy on the guitar as I recall.
Both songs I heard on a local classic rock station.
Maybe someone could help me out here?
-
I'll try that Nemesis, and I think it's great we can help one another here. Anybody got help for Chris? I have no clue, I'm an 80's child.
-
Got a badass 10 minute mix of Gino Vinelli's "Black cars."

"Dirty Laundry" by Don Henley perhaps?
-
Yesss! Kick him when he's up, kick him when he's down, long song BTW
-
Not Van Stephenson, were they famous in the 80's? I remember the video, it was this high school chick wanting to do "what big girls do." Not nasty, just showing how we grow up too fast sometimes.
-
Hope this helps Chris. Don Henley is the man!

If you like Dirty Laundry, try "Johnny can't read" by Don Henley, 50's but 80's and modern and very well written. It is about the 30's generation of today, but was written in the 80's.

Number two sounds like Train, Train
It's an old bluegrass song that was covered at least twice that I know of. One cover was by Blackfoot, which if you don't know anything about them were a Lynard Skynard type Southern rock band. The other cover was Warrant back in the hair band days. Guess you can probably figure out which cover you're looking for from the style.
Hope this helps.

Thanks a lot man!
Now, another song I really have no idea about.. This is all I know (It might not even be right)
Sounded something like this...
??? "At heartbreak high there is no lie" ????
Or something that sounds like that.... Sorry I can't provide anything else.
Same genre as above.

No clue Chris, maybe others can help? I'm listening to the Ronettes "Be my baby." I'm afraid it's earlier than your time,
