Im not sure what Polaris is or what it might have to do with Federation and Empire, but that interests me in that I have heard mentions of Polaris from several ppls....
Oh well, I got nothing but time, in between launching salvos and ducking return fire on other threads.

Before this goes too far...my post is nothing more than speculation and, hopefully, suggestive ponderings.
To me, the thought of a hybird of GAW, F&E, and some aspects of The Polaris Project, make me sit up and take notice.
Other than that, I am NOT any more informed than any of you...well...ok, there was that time...

After reading Erik's post, I have my doubts about ANY partnership between Activision and Taldren in the immediate future. Activision holds all the Trek licenses. Federation and Empire would have to go through Activision. It is also even lower profile than SFB, which is a fairly underground game as it is.

I would have liked to have seen an expansion to SFC3,but that is pretty obviously not going to happen now.
As the saying goes,all good things must come to an end...though I think it's ending two games too soon.(GAW and a SFC3 expansion)
