Hi Guys
With all the Excelsior varients flying around I find it funny that no one has ever tackled this ship yet.
Just wondering if someone would like to add to the mix.

Interesting. I have never seen this design before. I think the Engines are too thin though, and I think they need to be closer to the Secondary hull. The look to wide to me. Other then that, it looks cool.

Hi Magnum357
If you find it interesting here are the variants on this ship, only one of these varients is official created by the author's
of the original blueprint set.
thanks for the comments I hope some one would like to pick up the challenge of creating an SFC model of her
in one of her forms.

nice Variants but i could make a better War ship hehe

Hey Bernard Guignard, out of the three pictures you have for variants, I like the last one best. Although the engines look small, it kinda reminds me of a Light/Strike Crusier designed for long range based on Excelcior Technology. And with a large aft shuttle bay, could be used for Carrier operations. The smaller warp Engines may produce less speed, but are more efficent (they look similar to Enterprise-A engines only more advanced or require less power) so the overall range of the ships strategic movement is increased.
Just saying I like the last one best.

I think the original Ingram (the first pic) is the best configuration, although the nacelles are too thin. It would look great with the standard Excelsior Nacelles. I also like that it has megaphaser emplacements on the pylons. The whole purpose of the Ingram was to be a heavy battle varient of the Excelsior, hence the extra photorps, megaphasers, and hanger facilities. I wish I could get my hands on that old Mastercom Data info. At least I think it was Mastercom Data...it's been years since I've seen the Ships of the Starfleet that had all the Excelsior varients in it...

Hi Magnum357
Well the Last variant is the official version 2 updated I have both the first edition and second edition blueprints. The Ingram
according to the blueprint is specified as follows
First edition second edition
Space control ship Strategic Space control ship
overall length 590.6 meters 484.8 meters
overall width 237.7 237.7
overall draft 88.6 84.4
displacement 509,000mt 489,000mt
The size comparison drawings with the enterprise 1701-A are very impressive
Yes Chrystoff it was the Mastercom data Center that put the ship blueprints out.

I like the original. The nacelles do look thin, but they've grown on me. I think it would make a nice CVA/SCS
