Title: Shiplist 3.1 and 3.2 I need help SOS

I downlowded those shiplist  and they aren't loading when i want to play them .When I select a ship from either of those list and set them up in skirmish mode and push play  I  just get the con no stars or ships and tha game crashes when I use Taldren,s own it plays fine I hope any one  could help me with this please .

Go into your SFC OP game folder and see if there is a OPPLUS folder in there... if not, then it did not install correctly..

try reinstalling the game to the default location that the CD wants to install to (delete the other game folder off your system first...

after reinstalling you can use the OP + 3.2 on your system.. 3.1 is no longer being used...

OP + will automatically find your install of SFC OP using your computer registry...

Hopefully this will work for you.. other than what I have suggested, you may want to contact Firesoul for more help as it is his creation.

He did start off by contacting me.. but unfortunately, he didn't make much sense.. sorry. I told him to try on the boards themselves, like this.

You need to uninstall OP+3.1 before OP+3.2 will install, perhaps that is the problem?
(...use the "add/remove programs" in the control panel to uninstall OP+)
If not, Pestalence's reccomendation of a fresh install and patch is probably best.

Alternatively, perhaps you are changing the detected OP installation folder in the OP+3.2
installer? If so,  try installing it but leave the detected folder as is and see what you get
before going for a re-install of OP... (Man, the hooch out there must rock! )

To me, it sounds like he is missing models.. Maybe deleted the opplus folder or pointed the installer to a different location.. which doesn't make much sense since he states the shiplist is loading fine, but getting black screen.. black screen represents missing models.. and OP + has been tested by everyone using it, so we know there is no missing models in the OP +3.2 kit.. so that leaves something wrong on your system, so either you installed incorrectly, or you deleted or moved content and the game can no longer find Models for use in game...

at least that is what it seems like to me...

another possibility is that Vid Card may not be up to the task.. however if that was the case, the models would show up as pure white and missing textures..  so it is not that...

I will wager to bet that if you delete the old OP game directory then reinstall OP, then use the OP + installer on the Game itself, it will work..

if you are trying to install to a separate directory, the OP + 3.2 will not work.. there are several models added and some models copied from your original game models.. so you MUST install OP + 3.2 on top of the OP game.

if you are worried about it effecting your original game, it will not.. the installer does not alter any original game content.. Using the Uninstall for OP + in the SFC OP Game directory will restore your game back to the condition it was in before OP + was installed...

Thanks Pastalence I looked in the folder where I downloaded it and it onley has 2kb of info in there .I downloaded from Strat.Shiplist changer and he did not include the models so I downloaded it agian only 3.2 and will stick in the folder strat created and see how it works I saved it to my docs. Thanks everyone else

I just read in mod section and it called swgz1.0 ship swapper this is what I downloaded and it cool.

It is a great utility, but you have to have the OP+ mod installed first before you can use that utility.. it only replaces the shiplist.. OP + replaces ship names, shiplist, frtlist, strings, and adds/copies models for your game to use with OP + 3.2.. the utlility is to be used in conjunction with OP + 3.2, not separate.. you have to have the OP + installed prior to using that utility. The utility just swapps shiplist.
