That is excellent news!
The Excalibur (IMHO) is perhaps the greatest Federation starship to date, a worthy successor to the Sovereign Class (in my interpretation of the 25th century Starfleet). A worthy opponent for the Romulan D'Voridex and Reman Saif (which will be a spectacular battle scenario!)
Bring 'em on!!!
BTW, I know you mentioned that your Class 4 Borg Cube is far too massive in polys to be released for SFC, but it is possible to do a lower poly version? That cube is quite beautiful, in a sinister kinda way.

And it'd nicely mix up some of the k/b's I'm doing to have other works other than p81's TMP ships in there.
And just as an aside... do anyone know exactly what those brown things are on the outside of the hull of the Centaur? My guess is still beer kegs and they're powering the warp reaction (and crew) on ethanol.. but I'm still curious.

How do you feel about people using your work in kitbashes? I have a project underway now that could really use your Excelsior in it, and I'd like to be able to use the saucer and nacelles from it if I can.
If not, that's cool as well.. just would like to know your thoughts on this...
