Title: Music program
Post by: TheBigCheese on February 25, 2004, 03:50:11 pm
I'm after a simple music program for composing little tunes on my PC, I used to have 'Music' on the Playstation 1 and that was great and simple to use, so something along those lines would be good

Midisoft has a line of programs called Studio. Not sure what the current version is but I've used them before for creating MIDI files. It supports midi-device entry (keyboards etc) or mouse click entry.

I personally use FInale (2002) and it is kind of a "go big or go home" option for you.  I guarantee that you won't be dissappointed.  It is the most capable program I have ever worked with.

Has demo and some "lite" versions as well I believe.

Too bad you don't (?) have access to a Mac.
