Can the armor in SFC2 OP exceed 127

Well thats helpful lol lol, I see in the shiplist, that certain items are 20,000, and etc..., I assume it possible, any ideas anyone

Only thing to do is try it and see what happens. When I was updating shield ratings for my SFC1 Gods of Orion mod, I found that shields couldn't go above 255 without the game crashing the first time you used that ship.
I think that armor can go above 127 because I vaguely remember a mission involving a "hockey puck" which had no shields or internal systems to speak of but could stand up to hours of alpha strikes. I found the easiest way to destroy a hockey puck was to tractor it into an asteroid. Over and over. For about 20 minutes.
Can't remember what version of the game that was, though.

if it cant be exxeeded (i never tried that much armor) max it to 127 and give 6 natural ecm to the ship u want to use.
i suppose its a borgcube?

Actually, it is for a new mod im trying out, something based on Andromeda Ascendant, basically the mod wont have shields, thats about it, but I want to make sure the ships can handle acouple of hits, before damage strikes

Andromeda Ascendant? I'd be interested in seeing that mod when it's finished. I like that show.

It sounds like a missle boat. . .with fighters.
How many times do they say "loading tubes 1 through 40". . .So would this ship have 8 fighters, 10 drones, 5 ADD's?
There are a few pics showing a direct fire weapon like disruptors, but that is not the ships primary armament.
Any *reliable* reference material out there?
