Hi all,I read in one of the threads a question about where to place a hanger bay on a ship.In another thread there was discussion about deflector dishes (or lack there-of).Well I was surfing around and came across this physical model.It's an ABBE Class,which I know is not new,but the idea for shuttle and deflector placement (which I really liked),in my opinion,was cool and I wanted to share it with everyone.Perhaps it shall inspire or give one of you modellers an alternative idea when you're creating a model.The more variety the better.

I think it would make a nice clean deflector installation for destroyers,and light cruisers.


 In Saucer Shuttlebay

 
 

This I think would be good for Frigates and Destroyers.
So what do you all think about these ideas?

Well as far as the deflector goes, I had been thinking along those lines when I started making my Chandley class... I think the reason I didn't go any further was that it's all a bit "Akira" ish which is not a bad thing by any means, but it is sort of TNGish and for some odd reason didn't look right.. That said, I may go back on that for one of the variants....

one big and two smal Miranda deflectors are something stupid and the insaucer hangar would be good for a render scene not for ingame models

would you mind if I posted my idea for a deflector for the "Miranda" or the advanced Miranda here??
