Other than the font used for the registry, the textures look fantastic...but you might want to try another font

Nice job on the kitbash though..

I got a nitpick only cause it looks nice. You might want to sample the saucer from Lord Shctupp's textures to match the part you added that the struts are resting on. Actually I can tell you its red 221 green 221 and blue 225.
Or not modelers preference.

2 Minor nitpicks on this Larson, the aft hull should be flat - i.e. perpendicular to the length of the nacelle, rather than pointed like the Kyiv (I changed the name in an update) and you should probably use the centre nacelle from LS's Federation class dreadnought which has the blue grille on the upper side of the nacelle.
Oh you might wanna edit the credits - I never made any of that mesh there, I altered the Kyiv to have better warp nacelles but since they're gone that is all Lord Schtupp and Pneumonic81
P.S. you got permission to release, just use my new name on the AKA bit.

P.P.S actually on second thought I think the hull looks better with the pointed arse.

I wasnt happy with that font myself, glad to know im not the only one as it was bugging me too.
Thank you for the permission and info Marauth, most kind sir, i'll get em updated before i release. I may go ahead and release this one "as is" once ive changed the fonts, as it will take me ages to make the other suggested model changes (still a Max newbie)

PS: Any tips for fonts to use? Im having difficulty locating a good TOS/registry style font.

If anyone is interested, im going to be releasing this tomorrow with updated full credits. Anyone is very welcome to improve the textures and registry fonts (in fact i really hope someone does) as texture work is definitely my weak point at the moment.

Sounds good to me.. I have a good commercial font here that I use, so once it's out, I can re-release it for you once I color match it the textures and re-font the registry for you. 
It'll still be your work, these'll just be minor touchups..

Okay, had a little time tonight to look at the mesh and play with it a bit.

Fixed the registry font, and also cleaned up the mesh a bit for you. Removed the spare set of impulse engines for you, and fixed the lower hull marker lights so they matched the top set (colored). And also fixed the smoothing issue on the pylons and color matched the pylon textures better for you too. I think I'm going to redo the upper and bottom set of saucer textures though because they set I used don't quite match the set that you used, so I'll just mod the set you have.
But I have pics at any rate of the changes..






Like I said, I'm going to re-modify the saucer textures.. but this is mostly done.

Just thought I'd mention the lower lights on the TOS Enterprise were white so they were correct to begin with, they were never red and green. Bloody good work in any case

Extremely good point.. been working on too much TMP lately. 
I;ll change them back tonight, along with refixing the original saucer texture. Noticed that there's a difference between the ones that I normally use and these ones.. so have to fix that.. 
Ah well, minor changes now. 
(btw, to answer that earlier question.. people are free to download either the original release or the one I'm touching up.. functionally, the only differences that will be seen will be marker lights and the font should be a bit different. I also removed an extra set of impulse enigines that were hidden inside the mesh, but you can't see them ingame anyways).

D/L the one above and play with it, and then download the one that I am tweaking in a couple of days, play with both, see which you like, and use that.

np... I'm certain that there are lots and lots of people wanting this one, and it looked great from the start.. I only tweaked it.

And while I was at it, I converted it to SFC 1 as well for the SFC 1 players. Also Wolfsgen, if I can have your permission to do so, I'd like to send a version over to Nannerslug for the "G@W" mod if he's interested. This'd be perfect for the mod..

it's looking very cool but those running lights are still wrong - the top ones were coloured, the bottom ones were white.
I'm guessing I was confusing when I said the bottom lights were white - my bad there.
LOL.

All I did were just a few tweaks.
After you emailed permission for him to use it, I sent Nannerslug a message about this one (including the permission to use it), so also expect to see your ship show up in the "Generations At War" mod.
