Title: my first ship mod!

hi there all! this is my first ship mod ever! its a modifyed Oberth class. I dont know how to do the glows yet but will add a pic here if i ever figure it out   so PLEASE let me know what you all think.....  any hints, sugestions, tips, or constructive critisim will be greatly apercieated. thanks all.

  EDIT well @#*! guess i dont know how to get a pic to load here any ideas? and ill try to get the pick up for you all  

well one more try! it may take a bit of time to load the pick but for a first time moder here i think its worth it  


hmm guess i need to figure out a way to save it as a jpeg um ok sure

Um, the link seems to be unavailable, might be why its not appearing. Also, try saving the image as a Jpg, Tif's tend to be quite large and I have no idea if this forum supports them (anyone?)

Other than that, you got it all right

um how do i save it as a jpeg? what program should i use?

Any paint program really, even Microsoft Paint can handle Tif's. Just open up the image in MS Paint (or Photoshop or Paintshop Pro if you have them) then select 'Save As', and save as type 'Jpeg'. The image quality should be as good as the original and the file a lot smaller

cool thanksgoing to start trying other ships.... not sure im ready to do one from scratch yet... but im going to give it a try..... thinking a TNG era excelcior(sp?) who knows i might be able to get it finishe befor the end of the year... what i need is something better than milkshape but for $20 was a steal

well here is a test pic of my next mod! wish i knew how to do textures..... enjoy all hope you like it.... its an excelsior vairent and needs lots of work yet but hope you all enjoy it
