Title: Hey, East Coast: A plague of "locusts"

Actually, I rather like the noisy critters. they are a distinctive noise of warm summer nights. Before I knew they were dying I used to try to right them and put them back on tree bark.

I like plinking them off my screens. They make a satisfying thud when they land.
