I'm currently working on a request by ModelsPlease for a retexture of one of p81's old TMP ships to bring it up to today's standards. Thought I'm thinking of also making this a slight kitbash to replace the chunky-ish secondary hull with a more modern one that'll remove the chunky-ness and save me remapping the whole secondary hull.
I'm also finishing off a bit of texture work on MarianoDT's HoverShip.. and while I was at it, I'm converting it to SFC 3 (in addition to the SFC 2 version) so that it can make use of SFC3's glows.. just the thing for HoverShips.
And lastly, I'm helping with another ship that may turn into a more extensive project because I'm kind of curious as to how far I can go with it.. this is another TOS ship.
But for now, just a teaser pic of the p81 ship as it stands as of last night..

I'll see what I can do about doing up some form of tutorial on lights in Max.. but it won't be today (or probably until after the in-laws leave in 10 days).
Guess that means I'll have to try and finish these open projects tonight. (sigh).

This is now an old pic btw.. I had enought time this morning to replace the secondary hull with one from one of p81's later FCAs.. and that's fixed the blockiness of the original secondary hull the right way.
Just didn't have time to generate a render this morning before work, but will tonight when I get home.So this is getting close to being finished, I just need to rebuild the pylon textures now, change the registry on the new secondary hull, and I think it's complete.
