Title: Direct x error

  I have a gforce fx5200 and the most recently driver, and I have directx 9.b installed, but after i start the game just after the openning movie, the game crash and a directx 8.1 error appear, that  the directx 8.1 is not installed,, and ask to install version 8.1 or above, but I have installed the version 9.b, that is wierd because the Starfleet 2 run without any problem, please help me i dont know what to do.
