Title: Moving Week
Post by: Blyre on April 19, 2004, 01:55:35 am
Hi Guys and Gals,

I wanted to drop you all a line to let you know that I will be gone from the forums for an extended period of time starting officially from April 23, 2004. I am in the process of moving from Iowa to Pennsylvania and have been very busy between packing, moving things into storage, and settling my affairs here in the Midwest.

I shouldn't be offline more than a month (30 days), but as with things of this nature, it is difficult to pin an exact timeframe on it. Once I am resettled and back online, I will be back to contribute to the Community in more significant ways.

good luck with the move, Blyre.  I'm moving back to california myself (modesto) starting next sunday.  Grandma is in a bad straight and I'm going to help take care of her.

Thanks, Judge, and I wish you all the best in handling your situation as well. I have decided that this will be my last move because I am tired of having to start over again.

Good luck on the move.

I do have a pointed question though: How does a screenwriter expect to succeed in PA?

It better be 3 hullva, jaw dropping spec scripts you got to shop around.

Best,
Jerry

Thanks Darryl,

Well, we're down to the last online day today and I feel some anxiety about the move but things are progressing. The apartment is mostly cleaned out now except for a few small items. Tonight I disconnect the cable hardware and pack up the laptop for the move tomorrow. I'm trying to be positive about the move but my instincts tell me to be on my guard. I'm probably being silly, but the anxiety is still there. Oh well, I get there, start working and get a place of my own.

In the end, what more is there in Life?

still no word on that other thing though.

Just an update on Blyre Guys.

He called me from Illinois last night, at a rest stop, and was going to take awhile to stretch his legs etc. he said his plans at this point was to get there sometime this afternoon. He had to leave alot of his stuff in Storage Only because he couldn't fit everything into his car, But he seemed to be in pretty good spirits.

I forgot to ask last time I talked to him.
