Post it here!
I'll start.
G'Warlock roasts Nero. I want a rematch! (BTW: Is there a way to beat those Gorn PFs??)

The PF is a nimble giant with a glass jaw. A good phaser strike from a CL and up will usually make them go pop. So the key is to seperate them from their tender and blow em up one by one. Usualy (As most fighter toting ships) once the PFs are gone, the tender is not as hevaly armed as its non carrier counterparts. Also, when facing a plasma race, keep your speed up and draw out their plasma, i.e get them to shoot while you are headed away.

#1 - You are correct, Bob.
#2 - Shut your noise, you!

No. The best thing to do is power off your weapons and drop your shields.

PFs, much like fighters, have pretty severe allergic reactions to plasma-Ds

While the PF tender rule might work for most games. Don't think a BCHV or THV is going to be any pushover once it's PF's are kaput. Also gorn and rom PF's shoot all their plasma in one burst so once they dump their plasma run in and smack them! Lyran PF's are a bit more tricky and can be more dangerous tohugh since they are able to do damage at range with their dizzies and are more dangerous to a fast moving opponent.
Also if your in a carrier or hydran, fighters can be good agianst PF's just don't expect them to last nearly as long as when fighting a normal ship

don't forget the fact that a human might be driving that one PF that you just can't shake...

Just keep telling yourself that

This is definitely the recommended method for dealing with PFs. It worked wonderfully well for the Feds during the Great Federation Turkey Shoot.

Welllll, I thought it was intuitive that plasma-Fs have a larger engagement envelope than plasma-Ds...I certainly hope no one went barreling into a dozen or more plasma-Fs on account of anything I had posted

Attention all PF tender pilots when fighting against the wee little frogs:
PFs like to play with Plasma Is and Caveat III squadrons. Please launch your PFs at your earliest convienence while the mother ship sits back at range 30 and watches the PF massa..., I mean party.
