ah, the great Greg Martin tutorial....already mastered it my friend

what i need to know is how to make TEXTURES of planets in photoshop.

I'd think cloud, motion blur, and distort might be a good place to start.

Well the way I learned is by looking at everyone elses textures and try to make the same thing, Also I played with the various filters and what not just to see what they did. and after a while I just started to get the hang of it.

Also did a few of the tutorials in the book that came with my copy of photoshop too. I guess I sort of taught myself.

I've been playing with PS for a couple weeks now. So mostly my stuff stinks...
